Invisalign Can Treat
Overcrowded teeth occur when there is simply a lack of room within your jaw for all your teeth to fit normally. When left untreated, overly crowded teeth can cause an increased chance of gum disease as your teeth are harder to clean.
Widely spaced teeth occur when you have extra space within your jaw. This could be due to small teeth, abnormal jaw bones, genetics, missing teeth, or tongue protrusion. Spacing issues can cause some periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, if left untreated, can lead to tooth loss.
Crossbites occur when the upper and lower jaws are both misaligned. It usually causes one or more upper teeth to bite on the inside of the lower teeth and can happen on both the front or the sides of the mouth. This issue can cause wear of the teeth, gum disease, and bone loss.
Underbites occur when the lower teeth protrude past the front teeth, usually caused by undergrowth of the upper jaw, overgrowth of the lower jaw, or both. It can also be caused by missing upper teeth. This issue can prevent the normal function of front teeth or molars which can lead to tooth wear.
Overbites occur when the upper teeth overlap significantly with the lower teeth. It’s typically caused by either genetics, bad oral habits, or over development of the bone that supports the teeth. This issue can lead to gum problems or irritation, and/or wear on the lower teeth and can cause painful jaw and joint problems.
Who is the Invisalign Open Day for?
Our Invisalign Open Day is designed for individuals who are keen on discovering how Invisalign can enhance their smile. Whether you are a current patient at London Dental Arts or not, all those looking to straighten their teeth are welcome to attend.
London Dental Arts offers solutions for those with crooked or misaligned teeth. Gone are the days where braces meant having to endure painful, traditional metal appliances on your teeth for extended periods of time. Today, there are various options available for both adults and children.
Some braces are virtually invisible, so your loved ones may not even notice you’re wearing one. Our team at London Dental Arts will assist you in choosing the best option for you.
We are excited to offer complimentary Invisalign consultations and 3D digital impressions of your teeth using the iTero scanner. The iTero scanner is a great tool that allows you to see an approximation of what your straight teeth will look like before you even begin treatment.

Your Invisalign Journey
1. Book your Invisalign consultation at our Forest Hill Dental practice
Spend an hour with a Diamond Invisalign provider who will discuss all the aspects of your treatment and take an OPG X-ray showing you precisely what needs to be done to straighten your teeth and why.
2. Take a 3D scan of your teeth and review your Clin-Check
We will send 3D scans off to Invisalign, and within a week, we will receive your Clin-Check. This will show you exactly what your teeth will look like before and after the treatment. Once you have approved this, we will then order your aligners.
3. Revisit your Invisalign dentist in forest Hill to fit your first aligners, then return every 6-8 weeks
For the initial fit of your first aligners, making sure they fit perfectly and are comfortable, then return every 6-8 weeks for minor adjustments and pick up new aligners.
4. Review your smile, make any refinements needed to ensure it’s perfect.
Collect your final retainers, which you will only wear at night (permanently fixed retainers available also).
